In the near future, the bio-energy concept of complete utilization of sugarcane biomass, molasses and press mud will become pivotal for a sustainable sugarcane industry. About The Event

An increasing number of population and urbanization growth together with various cultures are constantly driving an increasing demand for the deployment and generation of power grids for the future. We can say it’s of high demand that a sustainable global energy system is needed to tackle and lower the emission of carbon to the ecosystem, but to achieve this, the criteria needed to meet these expectations is ‘more energy’. Despite the rapid increase in demand of electric vehicles in the EU market, other automobiles such as the light and heavy duty transport vehicles running on fuels and diesels, still account for a high percentage of carbon emission machines. While other carbon emission transport vehicles from marine and aviation are still on the rise.

In the European Union (EU), the goals are clear for 2030 with the implementation of the new Renewable Energy Directive (RED) in effect as of 2021. The EU Green Deal could provide a leap-frog opportunity in getting Europe Fit for 55 in terms of capacity buildout of renewable and sustainable transportation fuels. Fuels that, by displacing their fossil counterparts, improve local air quality and provide genuine greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions in the existing vehicle, vessel and aircraft fleets. However, this requires long-term and coherent policies, technology agnostic and market neutral legislation, and a holistic life cycle approach to steering instruments.

As part of the drive and elevation towards sustainable and renewable power driven future, the introduction of biofuels to the power and energy industry strikes a higher opportunity to achieve that, and they pose a cheaper and zero carbon emission attribute. Biofuels, playing a role that will benefit the global economy and climate system in the future, are already accounting for almost 10% of the world’s energy and power supply. 

Advanced Biofuels Forum will take you towards the ideology of the generation of fuels, from the first to the second and third, consisting of the biofuels, advanced biofuels and true sustainable materials; which all have the potential to produce a cleaner energy market and industry globally.
