The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has caused significant concern and distress for us all. Beyond the human impact, the situation is causing severe and continuous travel disruptions, which have directly affected the organisation of Bonsucro Global Week, scheduled to begin this coming Monday.
Over the last 24 hours, Bonsucro has carefully evaluated the risks involved in continuing with the event versus ensuring its safety and success, as the well-being of our delegates and staff is fundamentally important to us.
Accordingly, following a meeting this afternoon, Bonsucro’s Board have made the difficult decision to postpone Global Week in the interest of safety and security.
While the physical event in New Delhi is postponed, we are evaluating how to proceed with some of the sessions, and we kindly ask for your patience as we work through the logistics of this transition. For now, the registration forms are closed.
This was an incredibly tough decision to reach, as everything was ready to welcome our global sugarcane community to New Delhi. However, our priority must remain the well-being of our global community.
